Depreciation and increasing asset value for periods only.

The attached file should explain better. I'm trying to write formulas for line 4 and 5 but more importantly for 4.

Basically I have an asset with a value, which is set at a certain point in time. Then I need to depreciate it to 0 until the point when it increased again. As you can see I have different length of time for the depreciation to bring the value to 0.

I have the formula that will provide the value increases in line 3.

We need to create Length of time and asset value to a field so as calculation of depreciation can be formulated,

as you mentioned you have set yourself ...., ideally if you wish to bring at zero, you may decide any value 2 or 3 or 5 ....
OR have you set / thought by any chance to arrive at LengthofTime ?

Yes in my example file the length of time between two increases are set manually but I would like the formula to count/calculate how much time it has until the next one and set the depreciation periods accordingly.
