Please attach a sample workbook with enough data to make it clear what is needed. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are demonstrated, mock them up manually if needed. Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to open the upload window.

Re: Combine parts of two cells in a new cell.

Wow you folks are seriously geniuses! Thank you the formula's worked perfectly.

I ended using Jul Stev formula
    =CONCATENATE(TEXT(E16,"hh")&IF(MINUTE(E16)=0,"",LEFT(MINUTE(E16),1))&"-"&H16)

    So now my next question.
In Column B I have two descriptions 'Extra Shift' and 'CWW'

How can I expand on the formula provide to a 'x' in front of an extra shift or a 'w' in front of a 'CWW'

    Thanks!
