    =SUMIF function?

Hi...I think what I need here is the sumif function but Im not entirely sure. I will attach the sheet that I am having trouble with. Basically what I need to do is on the second tab (Trend by Day), I would like it to pull from the first pages sales. However, I only want it to add the days that sales are entered and not include all days (budget, etc.) The way I have it set up now, it calculates all days which is only good to analyze on the final day of the month. I would like it to be a running total as numbers are entered. Make any sense to anyone? Thanks in advance if anyone can help!117.xlsx

    Re: =SUMIF function?

Put this in C5 of the Trend by Day sheet:

    =SUMIFS('October 2013 Budget'!$G$11:$G$41,'October 2013 Budget'!$B$11:$B$41,A5&"*",'October 2013 Budget'!$E$11:$E$41,">0")

    and then copy down.

    Hope this helps.

    Pete
