Make Unique Name List and Sum Data

In attached file I defined what I need.
Shortly, make a Unique Name List from data table and make sum values to names.

You can see detail in attached file.

It would be easier if you put your data/days 1 below the other instead of across the sheet, makes things much easier. see the attached

Here is a start for you. I only did the first 4 since it is a bit of work. You should be able to do the rest.

Jacc, that is quite a formula you put together there, nice

However, you have that for 5 days, if the table continues for even 1 more week, your formula will become almost impossible to manage It is also dependant on there being that exact amount if names in each day

If you change the layout of your data to a normalized situation as shown in Sheet2 attached, then you can quickly create a pivot table using Excel's built in function as shown in Sheet3.

If you are not familiar with Pivot Tables, then look at this page and view the videos on Pivot Tables. Very powerful stuff.

I agree with FDibbins and alansidman, these formulas are not a good solution. However, I assume that these 7 days represent a week and that no more days will be added?

It's really starting to run slow on my PC. Converting your data range to a Excel Table would make the ranges in the formulas smaller and it would run faster.
There is also the possibility to make a UDF, that would possibly run faster.
