I have several existing spreadsheets which require some major changes. Trouble is that when I make the changes on Sheet1 it will of course affect what's on Sheet2, Sheet3, etc.. and many of those formulas on Sheet2 and Sheet3 use absolute cell addresses (Sheet1!$G$41, Sheet1!$H$32...etc) The changes I need to make to Sheet1 will require some additional rows to be added. Then the cells on Sheet2 will be pointing at these absolute cell addresses and not pickup that they will need to be re-referenced to account for the two new rows that were added.
Is there some trick or tip to handling this? There are about 75 absolute references on Sheet2 alone and probably more on Sheet3. So I was hoping that instead of removing all the "$" characters and then having to go back and replace all of them 1 by 1....some other method would be available.
