HELP! VLOOKUP within a range of numbers with decimal places

    Hi,

Please help me with my sheet. I'm having problems using VLOOKUP function on a range of numbers with decimal places. Please see attached sheet for more info.

    On my sheet:

There were two criterias with range of numbers with their corresponding ratings.
    1-30 days
    1 -- >75
    2 -- 60.01-75
    3 -- 45.01-60
    4 -- 30-45
    5 -- <30

    31+ days
    1 -- >56.25
    2 -- 45.01-56.25
    3 -- 33.75-45
    4 -- 22.5-33.74
    5 -- <22.5

What I want to do is to do a vlookup on value that will show its corresponding rating based on a lookup table.

For example: the 1-30 days drop-down is set to Y, the Actual Value is 29.99 rating should be 5 since it is less than 30.

What you want is confusing to me. Can you upload a representative workbook to show the actual problem.

try to arrange your table descending
    and shorten up the table
    i.e.
    table for 1-30 days
