Issues With Getting averages from a large amount of data.

    Hello,

I have many problems with an excel project and after a week of researching and trying to figure it out I think I need to ask for help. Attached is an example of the giant excel file I am working with. In this excel file I have raw data given by the database (Date, Time Stamp, Percent, and %MBH). From this data I have to find a daily average that will the be used by another workbook. So far I have found and modified a formula in this forum to find the daily average, the problem now is pulling one of those daily averages. Also I think that the method I found for determining the daily averages isn't the most efficient way. I have tried using a pivot table but have had no success when trying to pull the average value to the other workbook. I also tried using the Vlookup function but have come across many errors because the data given to me is all in text format. Any help would be greatly appreciated and I will explain anything that I have done.

    Thank You in advance.

Please take note that the data is over 200,000 rows.

    Using your posted workbook...

Do you actually need to calculate the "Average % MBH Used" for each row?
This regular formula returns the average %MBH Used for the K2 date

Is that something you can work with?
