    Conditional Formatting Balance vs. Actual with 3-Icon set

    Column B has account names
    Column E has budget values
    Column F has actual values

    Want to have an icon in the name cells:
    1. If budget > actual, green icon
    2. If budget = actual, yellow icon
    3. If budget < actual, red icon

    Can someone tell me how to do this with Excel 2010?
    Would this require a special formula, as opposed to the two rules (>=, or >) in "Edit the Rule Description:"
    Is there a comprehensive tutorial out there somewhere?

    if you just want to color the cell use Conditional Formating. You will do this 3 times
    Highlight the column or columns
    New
    Use Formula
    1. =$E1>$F1 (set formating with the button)
    2. =$E1=$F1
    3. =$E1<$F1
