Post Don't know the Forumlas with problem either using "vlookup" "if" "and" or "index" "match"

    Hi All

Im trying to using the table below to lookup the score and score% according to the month.
Like, if I type "'080111" in A13"Ben" in cell B13,
Jan-13 to Mar-13 and D16 to D18 will show the particular score according to the month in the table.

Does anyone know which type of formula should I use.
I was trying to use IF(AND(Vlookup at the same time, but what comes out is #N/A.

    Thank you all!

On sheet2 in cell D16, input the following formula and copy it down.

Another way to do this by using Index and Match. In cell F16 input the formula given below. This is an array formula so you need to confirm it with Ctrl+Shift+Enter and copy across and down until you get the blank cells.

    Hi All

Thank you for all your suggestions. Its my fault I forgot to tell if I will continue to add student no., student name, month, score continuously, what should I do, as I tried the above formulas. I think there is another formula can afford not to amend everytime.

Also, if I use Index, can I included the Title like student no., student name.... like included all row 1.?

    Thank you all!
