Display current time based on cell changes.

    Hello,

In column C I have the drop down option to select. When User select the Dropdown option I need current time to be displayed in adjustment cell in Column D.

How can I make that happen?

    Thanks

Re: Display current time based on cell changes.

no drop downs in column C
Not exactly sure what you want, this might be achievable through formulas, but sounds more like a change event subroutine for VBA
Would need expected results and some logic for when the date/time stamp gets changed (ie, initial choice, or status started, or finished, or a change in status, etc,...)
A picture may be worth a thousand words, BUT, a sample Workbook is worth a thousand screenshots!

Your uploaded sample has no dropdown's ( at least in version I downloaded) sorry
IF this requires VBA, PM a moderator or Administrator and ask them to move it for you, they are all good people, honest errors are fine

I usually have no problems with 2010, but is a possibility I suppose
