Approval Conditional Formatting

Help please,

I need to set conditional formating to track the status of funding approval request (based on todays date anytime anyone opens the file). A status to indicate if (RED: past due, or Green: Approved, or YELLOW: Approval needed within 2 days of today's date or GREY: Approval needed is more than 2 days of today's date).

I would prefer colored icons/symbols instead of coloring the whole cell. Or colored cell with wording.

Hi

The conditions for red & green colors are against eatch other. So if a date exist in D6 and it;s past the color will be red not green.
