Need help on what formula to use for the following:
I need to do a spreadsheet on vacation accrual that goes like this:
Year of starting date, but the accrual is 1 year but less than 7 accum 144 hours; 7 years but less than 14 will accum 216; 15 but less than21 will accum 288; and 21 years or more will accum 360. Can you help me with a formula, please?
Try this
=INDEX({0,144,216,288,360},MATCH(DATEDIF(start_Date,TODAY(),"Y"),{0,1,7,14,21,99},1))
Or this:
Copy and paste formula in B2 and drag it down
=LOOKUP(DATEDIF(A2,TODAY(),"y"),{0,1,7,14,21,99},{0,144,216,288,360})
