Help with date formula required

Used a screen capture to explain below.

I am using this formula but have become stuck:
=IF(E7<M7,"Check your passport","")

I am trying to achieve this:

If E7 is 180 days less than M7 then "check your passport",""

This may help....

=IF(E7-180<M7,"Check your passport","")

Jeees! That was so simple I have been messing with this for 2 hours and couldnt figure it out.
