i have a bunch of if formulas in cells that looks for the date as criteria.
how do i change the date automatically from month to month without having to redo all the formulas.....
=COUNTIFS(Table1[Date In],"01/11/2013",Table1[Cont],"V") example of the formulas that i have....

you could try this. Put the date in a cell (say in Z1) and refer to that cell in the formula:Formula:

And then in Z1, to change the date automatically, you could put the formula:Formula:Please Login or Register to view this content.
Or change the date in Z1 manually by keying in the date if you prefer.

when i do that it does not return the correct value for the count....
You may want to check that the date format in Z1, and the format of dates in Table1[Date In] is the same.
if it still doesn't work, upload a sample sheet and I could take a look.
