Conditional Format for cell Change

Hi

When a cell changes value, I want the adjacent column, same row, to show the date of the change. The new value could be 0 or any number positive or negative.

In the conditional format for the function would I use =IF statement. Not sure what to use <> etc will not work. Is there a =cell function that recognises a change in a cell.

Thanks for your post sixthsense .

I have stock quantities in Column A1 down, when this quantity is changed I want the Column B to show the last Date of change.

VBA would be great. Is there also a solution using functions etc
