Question Calculate money Spent between two dates??!!!

I've been working on this for the last 6 hours and have not gotten far. I have clients who come into the system on random dates and from that date for six months they are given $200, and it renews back to $200 every 6 months. I have a sheet that has the dates of purchase and the amounts from the client's start date until the current date. So for instance I have a client that started services in Feb 2012, so she has had 3 rounds of $200, and is currently on the 4th. I only need the total from the ending of the last six months the current amount during the six month period. Is there any possible way to automate the process of calculating between the beginning date and the ending date for a six month period without constantly changing the formula? This is a sheet that will be used by a few hundred other employees and so it would need to function without a constant update.

Hi and welcome to the forum

can you summple a workbook with dummy data, showing examples of what you are working with and a few samples of what you expect?
To attach a file to your post,
click advanced (next to quick post),
scroll down until you see "manage file",
click that and select "add files" (top right corner).
click "select files" find your file, click "open" click "upload" click 'done" bottom right. click "submit reply"

Once the upload is completed the file name will appear below the input boxes in this window.
You can then close the window to return to the new post screen.
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you
