    VLookup two Variables

    Hi All,

    I need to figure out a vlookup function that searches for two variables and return an answer. such as the example attached;

    vlookup -- 12253 & 605.34 (if these are matching then) 131001

    Re: VLookup two Variables

    IF you got numbers to return you can use:
    =SUMPRODUCT(--($E$3:$E$6=A9),--($G$3:$G$6=B9),--(F3:F6))

    Test(1).xls

    Just tested this:

    Must be entered with Ctrl-Shift+Enter combination.

    =INDEX(Workings!$F$10:$F$32,MATCH(G8&T8,Workings!$D$10:$D$32&'60200600 Workings'!$R$8:$R$32,0))
