Conditional Weekly Average Formula for Dynamic Dates

Hello All,

This is the first time I am posting a question - my apologies for any blunders I may make inadvertently. :-)
I have a excel sheet (using excel 97-2003) having some performance data for the last 31 days against some people's names in one sheet. The performance data keeps updating each day and hence the average formula needs to consider the date (in the first row).

What I need is an weekly average per person for the current week & previous week.

Cant seem to upload an example file. Will keep trying. Any help is most welcome.

Uploaded the sample data file finally! Had to use good old internet explorer; chrome/firefox won't work :-(
Please could someone take a look at this?
