    Sum all cells in column if highest value in row

    Hi,

    I'm trying to perform a calculation that adds all cells in a column if it is greater than or equal to the cell in the same row.
    So for example I want to add all values in column A1 if they are greater than or equal to the adjacent values in the same row.
    Can anyone help please?

    A1 B1 C1
    A 1 2 3
    B 3 2 3
    C 5 6 7
    D 1 4 5
    E 8 1 4
    F 9 3 2
    G 9 9 9

    In D1 type =IF(A1>=MAX(B1:C1),A1,0)
    Copy down and then sum at the bottom of Column D

    Re: Sum all cells in column if highest value in row

    welcome to the forum, cassus. your eg is a little confusing because the rows are in alphabets instead of numbers? and since you only want to sum up column A comparing with column B, why is there a 3rd column of values?

    my guess is:
    =SUMPRODUCT((A1:A10>=B1:B10)*A1:A10)

    but if it doesn't help, upload an Excel file in the thread. To do that, Click on GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to open the upload window.
