This is my first post on this site. I have used this site to answer my numerous excel questions. Thank you all.
I need some help on some unique requirements.
I have attached a spreadsheet with sample data and required result (in yellow).
Brief explanation: I have unlimited number of employees (John Doe, Kelly Clark,etc), their Date of Birth, 3 person types (Employee,Spouse and Child) and 3 Plans (A, B and C).
If Employee DOB is not null then insert a row for each plan (A, B, C) for that employee with type (Fname_lname_Plan) and coverage =1
If Spouse DOB is not null then insert row for each plan (A, B, C) for that employee with type (Fname_lname_Plan) and coverage =2
If Child DOB is not null then insert row for each plan(A, B, C) for that employee with type (Fname_lname_Plan) and coverage =3
If all Employee,Spouse and Child DOB are not null then insert row for each plan(A, B, C) for that employee with type (Fname_lname_Plan) and coverage =4
I have tried using MATCH and OFFSET function but being a novice at excel, couldn't figure it out.
Any help is really appreciated. Please let me know if you need any additional information.
