Conditional Formatting with approaching due dates and completed dates

    Hello,

First off, hello to everybody! I have a spreadsheet that tracks Instructor Evaluations. I have one cell as the Due date (M10) and the next cell as the completed date (N10). I have the cell M10 formatted to turn yellow when the date is within 30 days from today and red if less thatn 5 days from today. Now this is where I'm pulling my hair out: When I enter the date the eval was completed in N10 I want the cell M10 to turn green if the completed date in N10 is =to or less than the due date.

So if M10 is red because it's within 5 days or yellow because it's within 30 days I need M10 to turn green if the date entered in N10 is on or before the due date in M10. Does that make sence??? I hope someone can help me out with this; I'm sure it's something simple, however, I can't get it to work!!!!!! Please help! Thank you.

M9 and N9 are the headings Due and Completed.

Re: Conditional Formatting with approaching due dates and completed dates

Ok, I attached a copy of a sample spreadsheet. In the sample there is no formatting, I just highlighted the cell to show what I would like. Again if the due date is within 30 days of today it will turn yellow, if it's within 5 days of today it should turn red. Despite the color, if I enter a completed date that is on or before the due date then I want the due date cell to turn green. Hope this helps.
