Hi folks,
First of all can I just say what a fantastic source of knowledge this site is. I have gotten so much information from here it is amazing. Anyhow's on to my question, I have a spreadsheet that I am going to use for scoring competition days and I was greatly assisted by Beachrock in getting sorted. However I now need to be able to have Excel automatically sort the sheet based on the actual scores to show the leader on the day in real-time or if that was not possible have the sort option as a button to allow the organizer to sort the sheet. The problem is that the column is locked to stop users from deleting the formula. I have attached the test sheet I am working from, there is no password on the protection yet, and what it does in effect is allow the person entering the scores on the day select the participant using their membership number which auto populates the next 4 cells adjoining with their details. They then enter the scores in each of the next 15 cells for the scores and the Total column displays the total score for that event for that individual. I wanted to be able to either have it sort dynamically or give the event organizer the ability to sort this total column.
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
Bob.
