countif OR ??

I have looked over this this forum for hours and I cannot seem to locate my problem so here it is.

I need to count all occurrences in Column 'B' where "SD" OR "SS" occur.

I have tried manipulating the countif formula a few dozen different ways but I get nothing. Is this possible?
