This is probably a very dumb question, but I'm stumped. I have a COUNTIFS function which I want to count the non-blank cells in a range. I know that I can have it count blank cells by setting the criteria to "", but what about non-blanks? I've tried NOT("") and <>"", but that didn't work. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for any assistance!
=countifs(a1:a10,"<>"&"")
You just want to count Non Blank Cells?
Try
=COUNTA(A1:A10)
Azumi nailed it. I forgot to put quotes around my operators! Whoops. Thanks!
One more approach..
=COUNTIF(A1:A10,"<>")
