Question regarding Ascending Order issue w/ Multiple Columns, multiple times in same sheet

Thanks so much for your help in advance, I greatly appreciate it. And believe me, this post is not as long as it looks, I was just attempting to be thorough -
    Thanks again!

    Here are my Questions:

    1. I have 3 Columns in my spreadsheet, where the following info starts in row 4, then continues down in rows to Row 2001.

    Column A Column B Column C
    Row4: Date (25-Dec) Description(Words) Amounts ($)
Row5: Diff. Date Diff. Description Diff. Amount
    Row6: "" "" ""

Q1: I Need to have these rows sorted by Column A (Dates) from Oldest to Newest, while still keeping each rows information intact (if A4 is the oldest date, thus being moved to the last row, B4 & C4 should also move to the last row).

(easy enough, but here is where I go way above my excel knowledge base)

Q2a: I need to mass sort these, preferably, but as you can see my information that needs sorting does not start until row4, so adding "A heading filter" does not solve my attempts to mass sort.

Further complicating my efforts, I have the Exact Same 3 Columns, repeating roughly 40x across the spreadsheet, albeit, each 3 column sequence is measuring different data.
Ex: Columns A-C (Cash Sales), Columns D-F(Credit Sales), etc.

    Q2b:
So I need Columns A-C sorted by Column A: Oldest to Newest (as in Q1)
without have the data in D-CZ being sorted,
But I also need to repeat this 3 column sort throughout the spreadsheet, without each sort affecting the rest of the data across the rows.

In other words - I need to sort Column A form Newest to Oldest, between rows 4-2001, that also encompasses Columns B&C, and keeps the rows of information intact while sorting this. Without affecting Columns D-CZ
Then I need to repeat the sort with the same criteria for the next 3 columns, and again until the spreadsheet is fully completed.

I was hoping to keep this to 2 Q's but as I am typing I am realizing that I may have another issue, I am attempting to have this sort in place prior to inputing my data, as I need to repeat this sheet 12 more times within my xls and don't want to have to input the formulas again when all the data is input for each sheet.
    If there is no data,
Q3a: can I set this sort up to begin with?
Q3b: If yes, is there any issue that the Column being sorted of the 3, (ex: Column A-C) is the first column in the series, (Column A) and will have data entered into cell A4, prior to B4 & C4?

I did this and nothing happened?

    More precisely,
I started at row 4, encompassed Columns 1,2,&3 down to 2001.
    Clicked Custom Sort
made sure "my data has headers" is not checked
    Sort by "Column A"
    Sort on "Values"
    Order "Oldest to Newest"
    Click, "Ok"

I then put 3 rows of data for the 3 columns to test, and the items did no sorting of any type.

    Any suggestions?

I then, typed in the data prior to clicking the sort button and it worked that way.

But I am trying to have the sort already in place before putting in any data, so that I do not have to continue to click the sort button every time new data is entered into the rows, is this possible?

Thanks for your response, no there are no formulas in Col A, just Dates.

Again if I input the data in the sheet prior to clicking sort it works.
But I am trying to have the sort in place prior to inputing the data, and that is what is not working.

Are they real dates or text looking like dates?
Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to make it clear what is needed. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are demonstrated, mock them up manually if needed. Remember to desensitize the data.

Here it is, in cell A1 I have inserted comments for each of the 3 sheets, before, input, & after.

Use the edit comment to read each message in it's entirety to understand what I am trying to convey and accomplish.

    Thanks again!

In which Sheet; (Before, Input, or After) did you perform this?

input.. you cant pre-sort something that isn't there, unless you had code to run on worksheet change auto sorting

Ok, that answers my question.. I was attempting to set up the sort so that it would be there prior to inputing the data.

Would the code needed to run be considered a Macro?
