    Copy only cell colour

    Hi I am trying to copy only the colour of a cell from one sheet to another.

    Sheet1 has a range of cells (B6:AE32) that contain formulas extracting numbers from multiple other sheets, and has conditional formatting to fill the cells in the desired colour. I want to transfer only the colours of the cells to sheet2. I do not want there to be any text in the cells, however should the cells colour change in sheet1 I would like this to also happen in sheet2 automatically.

    Is there is a formula that I can drag across the desired range of cells that only inputs the colour of the corresponding cell on another page?

    Hopefully that makes sense. Thanks in advance

    Formula's don't have that capacity

    You have to go for VBA approach

    Confirm us if you need it

    With source range and result range.

    Another option would be to use CF on the other sheet based on what you have on the 1st sheet
    1. Use code tags for VBA. [code] Your Code [/code] (or use the # button)
    2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools

    I have tried a VBA but my skills are very very limited and I didnt get very far, it would be much appreciated if you are able to help with the VBA Sixthsense.

    Instead of going for VBA approach you just make use of the suggestion offered by FDibbins.

    Just use the same CF to the another sheet but locate the target cell to the base sheet cells
