    IF in between

    I have a table with 10000 rows.
Each row is assigned a value from 1-100 broken up by categories <=60,60-70,70-80, you get the idea.

I was wondering what would be an easier way to do this. It works but its a pain.

This basically looks up value in row, and if it matches in one of those categories then produces category name, if not moves on to next choice.

I'm thinking vlookup with true; but then I still need it to look up if value fits in one of the six categories than. gives title. so it seems I would still have to write vlookup function for every category.

Thank you in advance for help!

    Re: IF in between

I would suggest to create a table with categories and use it with VLOOKUP, LOOKUP or INDEX/MATCH functions.
