Simple(?) formula for removing tax & a discount?

    Hi
I am hoping someone can let me have what is probably a very simple solution to the above - beyond me as I am a wine merchant!

So I have exported my entire database (from my retail website) and would like to remove the VAT (20%) and at the same time 5% (or more) - this is so I can then offer the list as a wholesale price list for restaurants etc.

So I know I can remove VAT (=SUM(c9/1.2) - and then I suppose I can work out that to get a 5% figure of that it would be =SUM (e9*5%) - and so on. But is there a simpler and more efficient formula that I could apply to one cell (and then the whole column)

    Thanks in advance

    Daniel

    i think this works

BUT would be worth checking a few examples
    =1/1.2*0.95
    0.791666667

    put that into a cell
    then
    select that cell
    copy
    now paste special
    click on multiple by
and select the range of numbers

I don't know if this is what you're looking for, but assuming if the retail price is $100, would the wholesale price be $76?
    removing 20% VAT = $80 and further remove 5% from $80 = $76.
If that's the calculation you need, then you can use the formula

where A2 is actually the original/retail price,
B2 is the VAT (20%) and
    C2 is the additional 5%
