Intricate excel budget help.

I am using a slightly modified Excel sheet that comes with the program. The screen shot is my workbook that I would like help with.

1. I would like to know how to expand a table to include more rows. This seems simple but I can't simply insert a row because there are tables side by side.

2. Additionally, I would like to create a third column of tables for more categories and would like to know how to format them the to resemble the other tables.

3. Also, I need them to factor into my monthly table views that are at the top and bottom.

Re: Intricate excel budget help.

Hi and welcome to the forum

Sorry to have to do this on your very 1st post

1st, Please take a moment to read the forum rules and then amend your thread title to something descriptive of your problem. Once you have done this please send me a PM and I will remove this request. (Also, include a link to your thread - copy from the adress bar)

To change a Title on your post, click EDIT POST then Go Advanced and change your title, if 2 days have passed ask a moderator to do it for you.

2nd, Please do not upload a picture of your file...rather, upload a sample of your workbook, showing what data you are working with, a few samples of your expected outcome is (manually entered is ok) and how you arrived at that. (exclude sensitive info). Pictures are pretty much impossible to edit, and no-one wants to re-type your data for you Also, not all members can upload picture files (Company firewalls and stuff)

To attach a file to your post,
click advanced (next to quick post),
scroll down until you see "manage file",
click that and select "add files" (top right corner).
click "select files" find your file, click "open" click "upload" click 'done" bottom right. click "submit reply"

Once the upload is completed the file name will appear below the input boxes in this window.
You can then close the window to return to the new post screen.
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you

Regards
Ford
