Multiple pivot tables, same underlying data

    Dear all,

I have some problems with pivot tables. I need to create 2 pivot tables based on the same data. If I try to put them in the same sheet, they get overlapped irrespectively of whether I place them next to each other or whether I put one of them below the other one. What is even more annoying is that even if I place them in different sheets, they still get overlapped, whatever I do on one of them translates to the other. Any suggestions how to overcome that issue?

It depends on how big your PivotTables are. You can hove more than one table on one sheet. Create first pivot table then select the entire table copy it (Ctrl+C) then paste it somewhere on the current sheet any other sheet and make changes if need it.

Whatever I do on one of them, it goes to the other as well. Copying, pasting does not help

Thank you for all your suggestions, I figured out how to do it by using the Pivot Table Wizard and unsharing the pivot table cache the reports are using
