Removing duplicates from a list based on the latest date

Hello,

I need some help please.

I am working on a large data file (leasing file), that has many duplicates. The names on the file are duplicated due to the various variable costs associated with leasing.
I need to remove the duplicates names based on the latest contract end date.

Please see attached example of my file.

Use a helper column and the remove duplicates tool, for example:
in E2 type =A2&D2, then apply the remove duplicates tool to column E.

I tried that, however, the date format does not work when joining the 2 columns. Is there a fix for this?

It shouldn't matter, you would get the datevalue instead which should be unqiue/allow you to remove duplicates.

You could type:
=A2 & " " & Text(D2,"DD/MM/YYYY")
if you really want it to display the dates.
