setting up horizontal calendar dates using only Sunday thru Friday dates (No Saturday)

I have an array with days and dates horizontally across row 1 and 2 for the entire year (2014). The data I use runs Sunday thru Friday. Is there a simplified way to set up those dates contiguously across the second row, but skipping every Saturday? (No prob with formula for days of week that's the easy part).
    i.e.
Sun Mon Tue Wed Thu Fri Sun
    1/5/14 1/6/14 1/7/14 1/8/14 1/9/14 1/10/14 1/12/14 etc etc

    Thanks!

In a separate worksheet, enter the information you want into columns instead of rows. Then filter the cells to only show "Saturday". Highlight all the rows, right click on the row numbers, and select "Delete Row". Remove the filter and you will be left with all the information you want. Copy these values and in the sheet you need the info select Paste Special and check the "Transpose" box.

hi Araise. another alternative. since you are using 2010, try:
    =WORKDAY.INTL(A1,1,17)

this adds 1 working day from A1 (you can put A1 as 5 Jan 2014). 17 is putting Sat as a weekend. as you type the WORKDAY.INTL formula, you can see the different function numbers in the 3rd argument.

If that takes care of your original question, please select Thread Tools from the menu link above and mark this thread as SOLVED. Thanks.
