Comparing number values in different colums

    Hi!

First time poster with a dilemma on his hands. I'm a bit rusty after having not used Excel for work related things for over a year so bear with me.

In my table (please see the attachment) there are numbers under "ID" (columns A & F) and "dollars" (colums B&G). So each ID number has some kind of dollar value: the ID is a cost-site and the dollar number is an actual cost.
Now, I'd like to accomplish two things: 1) I would need to check that all the ID numbers in colums A and F match each other and get a warning of some kind if they don't in each instance. So basically I need to know if there are ID numbers in column A that aren't in column F and vice versa and I need a warning for all of them.

Then 2) I would need a way to compare the dollar numbers associated with the ID numbers so that I would see if the dollars in column B associated with the ID number 3040 match the dollars in column G that has the same ID number. So in plain English, I need to check that the dollar cost of a specific cost site, let's say ID 1 cost-site 8901 (in which the cost is 23) matches with the costs in ID 2 cost-site 8901 (they do, in this example). I also need a warning of some kind if the dollar values in the same cost-site in ID 1 and ID 2 don't match in each instance.

I'm assuming that I would need a formula using "IF", "Match" and maybe some kind of lookup function but I just kind wrap my head around this right now. My original table has much more information so manually completing this would be a chore. The formula doesn't have to be in only one column.

    So thanks in advance!
