    Help on Conditional Formatting

    HI.

    I'm trying to create a conditional format that recognises a specific text (apples) in one column but then highlights the cost in a second column but only when the cost of the apples is over £0.40.

    I've attached an example, but not sure how to create the formula.

    Can anyone help please?

    Thank you

    Re: Help on Conditional Formatting

    =AND(A3="Apples",B3>=0.4)

    Set your conditional format as above!

    Re: Help on Conditional Formatting

    Select cells B2 to B13, then click on Conditional Formatting | New Rule | Use a formula. Then enter this formula in the dialogue box:

    =AND(A2="Apples",B2>=0.4)

    Click the Format button, then click Bold, and in the Color box click on red. Then OK your way out, and Excel will automatically adjust the cell references to suit the highlighted cells.

    Hope this helps.

    Pete
