hello all,
now I have no idea if this can be done but what I would to do is create a 'button' in which I can click to clear cells.
it is for an invoice - shave finished it and printed it out - I need a button to click In which will make it go back to the template state.

Perhaps something like this? The macro clear all the data in the range A2:I30, in the sheet.

that's great - it worked! and I managed to add to it!!im learning slowly!
just one more thing I would like it to do.........for it to change the invoice number everytime I click that button! its probably very simple but im not sure how to write it!

Where and how do you save the invoice that you create? Do you use another sheet as DataBase?
Probably you don't need code for this. Just a formula.. Something like this...

Assuming that in sheet3-column B is the column that you save your used Invoices Numbers.
If something like this does not works for you, then it's better to upload a small sample workbook explaining what you need to do.

I kind of thought it might not be possible to save it but would be jolly useful if I could save the following detail from each invoice to a separate sheet:
- Invoice Number
- sales price
- cost price (which I haven't got a column for that in my invoice sheet yet)
- nominal code (which again I haven't got a column for that yet)
that way I can then do reports on our invoice sales automatically?!
if that can be done - would be great!
I have attached a sample copy.
All what you describe can be done,but is competely other issue.
So my suggestion is to start a new thread asking for help, as also i have no time to look at this.
