    Question Lookup

    Good Morning

    I am having one of those days, all I want to do is lookup a value on sheet 1 column A and see if it appears in sheet 2 Column A and then in column B I want it to say is present or not present if it is or isn’t in the sheet 2

    I have 1095 values in Column A sheet 1 and 705 values in column A in sheet 2

    I want see what values from sheet 1 are not in sheet 2

    Put this in B1 of Sheet1:

    =IF(ISNA(MATCH(A1,Sheet2!A:A,0)),"not present","present")

    then copy down.

    Perhaps using the countif function.

    In B2 and copy down use this.
