Need Help Extracting text using Find and Another Function

Hello

Cell A1 contains A1.1B2.2C3.3D4.4E5.5F6.6G7.7H8.8I9.9

In Cell D1 I'm trying to write a formula that will do two things

First, allow me to search the string in A1 for a specific letter, lets say "D"
Then, it will return the 3 charactures following the letter "D" so the result of the formula would be 4.4
