Average within numerous cells

Hi,

I'm having trouble executing a formula, which i suppose in theory is very simple

What i want to be able to do is demonstrate the average of number between a certain amount of cells

So if i had 80 for example in one cell, and wanted the four cells in the row below to show 20 each, thus 80/4

Can this be done?

open the attached workbook and enter the value something like 80 and put cursor on it and click on the button

If i wanted to put a 0 in the one of the four cells below, thus dividing the top number by three rather than four, could this be done?

If so, what would the formula be?

need some clarification

lets assume in cell A2 if we enter 40 & in any cell between A3 and A5 if we enter 0 then next to that 0 cell u want to divide by 3 to 40 is it what u r looking for

Attached is what I'm trying to do,

I want the four cells beneath the fee box (80 in this case, though could change) to be divided by the fee box, but with the option to
changing the fee amount and being able to put a 0 underneath one or more of the headings, thus reducing the amount of cells the "fee"
will be divided into.

I've put the numbers in how i'd like it to come up, hopefully you understand with respect with being able to achieve this but by being
able to change fee amounts and put 0's in some columns!
