    Question about NESTED IF STATEMENTS

I'm sure I'm not doing this the "smartest" way, I'm just fumbling through it as best I can. What I have so far:

    =IFERROR(IF(INDEX('for sorting'!N$3:N$581,MATCH($A7,'for sorting'!$A$3:$A$581,0))<>0,INDEX('for sorting'!M$3:M$581,MATCH($A7,'for sorting'!$A$3:$A$581,0)),""),"")

I need to add another condition to look into a different set of columns if the sum of N3:O3 >0.

I thought I could just add to the beginning after the IFERROR something like

    IFERROR(IF(SUM(N3:03)>0,IF(INDEX('for sorting'!N$3:N$581,MATCH($A7,'for sorting'!$A$3:$A$581,0))<>0,INDEX('for sorting'!M$3:M$581,MATCH($A7,'for sorting'!$A$3:$A$581,0)),""),""),IF(INDEX('for sorting'!P$3:P$581,MATCH($A7,'for sorting'!$A$3:$A$581,0))<>0,INDEX('for sorting'!M$3:M$581,MATCH($A7,'for sorting'!$A$3:$A$581,0)),""),"")

The first formula works, but I'm not capturing all the data I need. So adding the additional part of the formula (in blue), I was hoping to go another level deeper to populate the rest of the info. I just can't get it right enough to even see if it works. I'm sure I have ()'s and ,'s out of place!

Re: Thought I had this, but..... need help with long formula.

What do you want the formula to do if the sum of N3:O3 is greater than 0? And if it's not greater than 0?
