    Remove duplicates and populate items based on dropdown

    I have an excel sheet with data where I have column A index number, B company name, c empty, d data , e with item

    What I trying to do is I made a dropdown for company list and i select comp1 then i want to populate items list with out duplicates

    Err... just noticed this is in the Formulas and Functions section of the Forum... I got here via the "Unanswered Threads" section.. so .. not sure if VBA will suit?

    Hi Dak! and welcome to the forum,

    Excel is a great tool if you know how to use it. It likes TABLES of data. You have a blank column C which isn't allowed in a TABLE. It also looks like you either have a merged group of cells in Column 2 and or 1. This also creates a problem for accomplishing your task.

    On dealing with tables (with no blank rows or columns) and see if you can make your problem easier.
