    Formula Problem

I am relatively competent with Excel but can't solve this problem.

I am working with stock codes, quantities from orders and week numbers. There are in my spreadsheet 181 stock codes and 48 weeks. Therefore the total range is A1:AW183, with order quantities entered within this range.

I need to be able to present in a summary table the week number that a specific stock code has a quantity due, from a specific range of weeks (ie: for February it would be weeks 6-9 (columns C-F), for March it would be weeks 10-13 (columns G-J), and so on).

    For example:

Stock Code "A" (cell A14) has an order due in week 9 as it shows a value of 2 in the relevant row and column, in this case cell F14.

The header row, which has all the week numbers shown is row 2, therefore week 9 appears in cell F2.

Therefore, so I can complete my February figures, what formula is needed to pull that cell value (in cell F2) to my summary table.

    Please help! Thanks.

Re: Can't find formula, please help

Thanks for your help. I have attached a file to help.

In the Summary tab you will see a simple dashboard, in row 10, for February (cell G10), I need the week no. that relates to stock code (A12 - see cell E5) from the PO Info Tab. The cell value required is F9.

    Please help, thanks again.

    Formula Problem.xlsx

    hi,
here attached the solution I'm proposing.
I needed "help" cells, highlighted in yellow.
if you change data in violet cells, green cells (same formula for all months) automatically show the results.
    can this help ?

I didn't ignore your request, I changed the post name immediately. What else am I supposed to do? What else is wrong with my post? I have an excel formula problem, hence the post name!

To read carefully the forum rules.

Your post does not comply with Rule 1 of our Forum RULES. Your post title should accurately and concisely describe your problem, not your anticipated solution.

Use terms appropriate to a Google search. Poor thread titles, like Please Help, Urgent, Need Help, Formula Problem, Code Problem, and Need Advice will be addressed according to the OP's experience in the forum: If you have less than 10 posts, expect (and respond to) a request to change your thread title. If you have 10 or more posts, expect your post to be locked, so you can start a new thread with an appropriate title.

To change a Title on your post, click EDIT then Go Advanced and change your title, if 2 days have passed ask a moderator to do it for you.

(This thread should receive no further responses until this moderation request is fulfilled, as per Forum Rule 7)

Forget it. You obviously can't read simple and concise English.
