    Conditional Formatting with Two Columns

    Hi All,

I am trying to use conditional formatting in excel which I have never used before and I am having some trouble. I am trying to highlight a cell if that cell's value equals 0.00 and the cell before it equals "I". Here is a sample of my data:

    A B

    1 I 37.52
    2 I 0.00
    3 I 120.60
    4 I 0.00
    5 N 0.00
    6 N 0.00

In this example I would be looking to highlight B2 and B4. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

In Conditional Formatting rules use this

How can you use Conditional Formating.

--In Excel 2007 and 2010, Conditional Formatting is in the Styles group on the Home tab. In Excel 2003, Conditional Formatting is on the Format menu. See here how you can work using CF.
