    # n/a

I have this match formula below. As it stands, it matches A4 to column G and return what is in column H. However, if it can't match anything, it returns a # N/A. I need it to return a 0 or a blank if it can't find anything.

How can I adjust my formula to do that?

    =INDEX($H:$H,MATCH(TEXT($A4,"ddd m/d/yyyy"),$G:$G,0))

    =IFERROR(INDEX($H:$H,MATCH(TEXT($A4,"ddd m/d/yyyy"),$G:$G,0)),"")

    Re: # n/a

If you're using Excel 2013 you can use the new IFNA function.

IFERROR traps ALL errors but IFNA traps only the #N/A error.

    =IFNA(INDEX($H:$H,MATCH(TEXT($A4,"ddd m/d/yyyy"),$G:$G,0)),"")

    @ rlkerr
as member for almost 8 years( atleast being a senior member ) with 55 threads and with only 14 threads marked as "solved" , just a reminder on how to mark a thread solved not just only for this thread. You have also other threads with request to mark them.

    To mark "Solved"
    How?
    New quick method:
Select Thread Tools-> Mark thread as Solved. To undo, select Thread Tools-> Mark thread as Unsolved.

Or you can use this way:

How to mark a thread Solved
    Go to the first post
    Click edit
    Click Go Advanced
Just below the word Title you will see a dropdown with the word No prefix.
    Change to Solved
    Click Save

    Note:
You can also thank those who have helped you by clicking the small star icon located in the lower left corner of the post in which the help was given.
By doing so you can add to the reputation(s) of those who helped and shared their time in helping you.

Thank you and we hope for the compliance on the forum rules.
I think people forget the word "THANK YOU!!!!" Do you still know it???

There is a little star ( ADD REPUTATION ) below those person who helped you. Click it to say your "PRIVATE APPRECIATION TO THEIR EFFORT ON THEIR CONTRIBUTIONS "

    vlady,
I always try to click solved. When I click on Go Advanced there is no drop down. I try on every post. I just thought you guys did away with that.

Here is what I do: I open the thread, go to bottom and click on Go Advanced, then at the top under the Title there is no dropdown.
