    How to calculate the Response Time

    Hi,

    Please help me to get the response time. I have been breaking me head since 2 weeks.

    1) I have a call which is dropped on 2/22/2014 17:00 and the SLA(service level agreement) to attend the call is only 2hrs but there is not access to the site to attend the call since the access time is 9am to 5pm and also 2/23/2014 is holiday . So the access to the site is only on 2/24/2014 at 9am. I know the answer it is 2/24/2014 11am since the agreed SLA is 2hrs. Which is the formula in excel to get the answer as 2/24/14 9:00 AM ?

    2) I have a call which is dropped on 2/22/2014 9:00 AM and the SLA is 3hrs , we have the 24hrs access to the site there are no restriction to access the site.
    so that answer will be 2/22/2014 12:00 PM, which is the formula in excel which givens me the answer 2/22/2014 12:00 PM ?

    If it does not help - may be it would be a good idea to attach a sample spreadsheet with some examples of data and "manually calculated" results.

    Hi Kaper,

    I am unable to attach the same data excel sheet, hence I have posted new thread with an same data excel sheet. Kindly refer to the new post and help me with a formula which will arrest the manual errors.
