Question Show "last updated on: (date)" when changes in row/column are made

I have a spreadsheet where I want to show an extra row where it shows "Last updated on: [date]" when I adjust something in one of the cells under it (column) or next to it (row).

For example: when I have 5 columns and they were all last updated on let's say the 1st of March 2014. When I change something in column 4 on the 5th of March 2014, it will show in the "last updated"-field of column 4 "05/03/2014", while the rest of the columns still show "01/03/2014".

I am not the Excel expert, so please give a dummy proof explanation

    Thanks!

Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to make it clear what is needed. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are demonstrated, mock them up manually if needed. Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to open the upload window.

I have attached the file. See comment in cell D3 in the "AFTER"-sheet for more info.
