    Conditional Formatting. No formatting for Blank Cells

    Using this formulae
    =(DATEDIF(B2,TODAY(),"m")>=IF(OR(D2=1,,D2=2,),6,12)

    This is working to change the colour if the date is past 6 or 12 months. However this is also colouring the empty cells too.

    I would like empty cells to not be edited so I have created another condition
    =""
    but I am unsure on the settings to go with it and it isn't currently working.

    Can anyone tell me where this is going wrong?

    Reverse your 2 conditions. Make the second condition to be first.

    Thanks for the reply.
    Swapped, clicked apply, the only change is that if I type a space into an empty cell is changes from filled to blank. However the whole column is still red.

    Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to make it clear what is needed. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are demonstrated, mock them up manually if needed. Remember to desensitize the data.

    Click on GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to open the upload window.
