I have a list of dates by DD/MM/YYY and I have been trying to use =text(A2,"mm-yy") this formula does not give me the result that I need. Please help. See examples below:
28/06/2013 = Jun13
08/08/2013 = Aug13
16/10/2013 = Oct13

You want
=text(A2,"mmmyy")
If it' not working, check to see if A2 is a number (dates are numbers)
=ISNUMBER(A2)
