    Formula to Amortize Expected Revenue across Months of a project

    Hi all,

    This is my first post so I am not sure if I am doing this correctly but thank you in advance for any help.

    Here is my issue: I have to flat line amortize Estimated Revenue across a number of Months a project is going on. Currently I have a report that leverages IF function to amortize across NETWORK DAYS but the thing is dense and I can figure out the exact breakdown.

    (Hypothetical) Data Set Up:
    A1 = Estimated Revenue
    B1 = Start Date of Project (XX/XX/XX)
    C1 = End Date of Project (XX/XX/XX)
    D1-O1 = 12 Month Breakout of year

    What formula would I use to amortize A1 equally for any month in START DATE --> END DATE?

    Thank you.

    Hi Awdvgyjmko ,

    Here is a file I put together for another Forum member. It takes the amount and spreads it out evenly based on start and end dates. I believe this will also work for you, just change the column titles.

    Hope this helps.
