I need to build a formula (or macro) that will give me the maximum number of "x" that can be added until it exceeds a threshold. It is kind of hard to explain, so I guess an example would be best.
If my agent has taken 400 calls this month SO FAR, and has closed 165 "units", his close rate would be 0.4125 or 41%.
I need to write a formula that would give me the number of calls he can take through the end of the month and still maintain a value above 40%.
this would be assuming that say he had a variable number of units(example 40) that will also close by the end of the month.
so basically, i need set it up so I only need to fill in the blanks such as current units, pending units, total calls taken, and the number of days remaining in the sales month(we don't use calendar months)
I can accomplish the percentages easily, but I can't find a way to give me the number of calls he could take and still meet/exceed his goal.
