Simple Survey Help - Chose Answer from List , Calculate Hidden Value

Hi, I'm a beginner and have just learned how to do lists.
I'd like to have a hidden value returned based on what response is chosen from Sheet1. I have the data and values listed on Sheet2.
Once the user has answered the questions the score will be a numerical answer (sum of the values).

    Thanks for your help!survey.xlsx

you could set the table up , so you have the question and then the answer and points

Where did this lead or opportunity come from? 1
If the lead was a result of a marketing effort, yes 2
If the lead was a result of a marketing effort, no 5
was the prospect able to remember what they are responding to? 4
Is this potential client in an industry yes 2
Is this potential client in an industry no 1
we understand or could quickly understand? 4
Does this potential client have any experience 5
    designing or building web products?

    and then use a lookup

    =vlookup( A8&" "&B8, sheet2!range, 2, false)

    would that work?

    something like this - see row10 & 14
